Authors Comment: "In August of 1992 I was diagnosed with "terminal lung cancer" and given two months to live. While undergoing treatments I soon realized my survival totally depended on my attitude towards cancer and the treatments. Weakened by the chemotherapy and radiation my imagination was the only escape from the grip of it all and this is where the great adventure of traveling to the Magical Kingdom of Toyahvale began.
Fourteen years later my life's journey continues, thanks to the Good Lord and the almighty power of prayer and inner strength.

Artist Comment: In January 2001, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. After surgery I spent many hours each day in a reclining chair, healing. It was during this time that Neta asked me to help illustrate this book. "Toy" is her design and I worked with her doing the drawings. It was wonderful, funny and satisfying therapy. Thank you Neta for helping me through a mental and physical recuperation.
I thank my Lord, Jesus everyday for my healing. Without him and all the prayers for me, I would have missed the joy of "Toy".
